Facts on the atrocities in the mediterranean waters

As you are reading this now, there are several people dying  between Libya and Italy or Morocco and Spain, several awaiting their turns to take on the challenge, and others nagging on the desert of the Sahara to make it to the borders. They live in very promiscuous conditions with no clean water, clothes, medication... They are usually kidnapped and their release subject to fortune from their families.

For instance, women are forced to sell their bodies to survive, those that refuse are raped, and killed if they resist. Many of the survivors end up impregnated and or contaminated with all sort of diseases.

The survivors of this horrible journey  are traumatized even if they successfully cross the ocean. They are taken to camps where they are kept for several months or years before their asylum cases are heard.

When we did a survey to determine the right solution  to resolve the crisis, a lot of them told us "they would rather be in jail in Spain than live free in their countries, but they are willing to go back or avoid risking their lives if more economic opportunities are created in their countries.
